24 Hour walk-in emergency consultations.
Full in-house blood work allowing for rapid interpretation of results.
In-house digital radiology with access to specialist interpretation.
In-house ultrasound offering both in and out-patient scans from the team at Perth Animal Ultrasound.
Endoscopy, allowing for both gastric imaging, foreign body removal and biopsies.
Both soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery inclusive of fracture repair and TPLO.
Purpose-built ICU facilities inclusive of mechanical ventilation.

Dr Jackie
Jackie is passionate about emergency medicine and surgery, having completed her veterinary degree at Murdoch University and her Graduate Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care through the University of Melbourne. For the past six years, she has managed a busy emergency hospital, where she also worked as an emergency vet before starting Port City. Her career began in medical research, where she was completing her PhD in infectious diseases before transferring to Murdoch to complete her veterinary degree. She has a very boisterous dog named Nala, a Geraldton special she adopted while working there. She also has a cat named Lady Blanche Forrester, whom she adopted at her previous job.

Dr Sam
Meet Sam, with a passion for providing emergency care, he thrives in the fast-paced environment of emergency veterinary medicine. He completed an Emergency and Critical Care internship at an emergency hospital and has undertaken extensive continuing education in emergency and critical care. Before starting Port City, he spent the last 5 years at one of Perth's premier veterinary emergency centres. Outside of his demanding work, Sam finds joy in fostering kittens, offering them a loving temporary home until they find their forever families. His expertise, combined with his compassionate nature, makes Dr. Jameson an invaluable asset to our community and a trusted caregiver for your beloved pets.

Dr Sam
Sam graduated from Murdoch University in 2007. He then worked in various small animal general practices in Western Australia and New South Wales. Sam owned a successful small animal practice in Sydney for 7 years, before relocating back to Perth. He has worked in emergency and critical care since 2017. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge in treating and managing small animal emergency and critical care cases. He resides in Perth with his two cats, wife and two kids, not necessarily in that order.

Dr Holly
Dr. Holly is an invaluable member of our team at Port City Emergency Vets. With her memberships in Emergency and Critical Care and over 10 years of experience in emergency, Holly is fully equipped for the fast-paced demands of emergency medicine. She also oversees our in-house blood bank, ensuring we’re always prepared to support pets in critical need.
Before joining us, Holly managed a bustling emergency hospital in the north of the city, gaining expertise and a deep commitment to helping pets in urgent situations. Outside of work, Holly loves spending time with her husband, two kids, and their ginormous dog, Spud.

Dr Lacey
Graduating with a Bachelor of Science and a bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in 2017, Lacey has developed a broad interest in all areas of veterinary practice, with a special focus on medicine, ophthalmology, and soft tissue surgery. Lacey’s career has taken her through a variety of veterinary settings, including mixed rural practice, general small animal practice, emergency medicine, and surgery, which has allowed her to gain valuable experience in different aspects of animal care.
Outside of work, Lacey enjoys spending time outdoors, travelling and prioritising a fit and healthy lifestyle, which keeps her energised and focused so she can continue to provide the best possible care for her patients.

Dr Keely
Keely is the senior Veterinary Surgeon at Port City Emergency Vets , bringing in a vast range of experience in veterinary care. Keely developed an immediate passion for surgery and pursued further training and education to be able to perform orthopaedic surgery, as well as more advanced soft tissue surgeries. Keely graduated from Murdoch University . Keely has passed the small animal surgery membership exams to become a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Medicine. Committed to providing compassionate care, Keely focuses on creating a supportive environment for pets and their owners. Outside of work Keely loves to travel, stay active and hang out with her golden retriever, Maeve!

Tenille RVN
Tenille is a dedicated veterinary nurse with 10 years of experience. She has a deep passion for animals, particularly in fostering kittens and caring for neonates. When not working, Tenille enjoys relaxing at the beach. At home, she is lovingly accompanied by her three furry companions: Two cats, Perri and Birdie, and a chihuahua named Rudy.

Emily RVN
Emily is a passionate veterinary nurse with 10 years of experience in emergency care, and has always been dedicated to nurturing pets back to health. Emily has fostered many kittens over the years, and this is how she ended up with her ‘foster fail’ Oscar (the grouch), who was brought in for care after being found in a bin. It didn’t take long for Oscar to steal Emily’s heart, and she gladly adopted him. Outside of work, Emily enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with Oscar.

Claudia RVN
Claudia has been working as a veterinary nurse for over 8 years, and in that time has worked in many areas of vet nursing. Claudia’s career as a nurse began in the red dirt up north and has taken her all the way to Melbourne and then back to Perth, where she is happy to call home. Claudia has a special interest in surgical nursing and spends a lot of time nursing for Port City’s Advance surgery department. Outside of work Claudia enjoys running, swimming, reading and is often seen with her best mate, Dexter, a very handsome rescue dog from Port Hedland!
